FAQ
Questions before the first digital hire
What is a digital employee?
An individually configured role that handles clearly defined tasks, uses company knowledge, works with approved tools and hands unclear cases to humans.
Is this just a chatbot?
No. A chatbot usually answers individual questions. A digital employee can process information from different sources, use systems, prepare work steps and execute defined processes.
Do we already need special systems?
No. CODIKI handles selection, setup and integration of the required components.
Can the employee access our existing systems?
Yes, if access can be set up sensibly from a business and security perspective.
Does the employee work fully autonomously?
Not necessarily. The automation level is defined per task. Critical decisions and binding actions can require human approval.
Which tasks are a good fit?
Recurring, digitally available, rule-based and information-heavy tasks with clear outcomes and defined handovers.
How long does it take until productive use?
The timeline depends on the complexity of the role, the number of systems and the required approvals. A clearly limited assistant can be introduced faster than a cross-system role. After the needs analysis, customers receive a concrete implementation plan with clear phases and realistic timing.
What happens after launch?
CODIKI continues to care for the employee, monitors results, corrects errors and adds new capabilities when needed.
Does the digital employee replace existing employees?
The primary goal is to relieve teams from recurring work and create additional capacity. Decisions, relationships, responsibility and special cases remain with people.
Pricing FAQ
Common pricing questions
Why is there a one-time setup fee?
A digital employee must be tailored to concrete tasks, company knowledge, systems, roles and approvals. Setup includes analysis, architecture, integration, tests and onboarding.
Why are there monthly operating costs?
A productive digital employee needs monitored runtime operation, server and component updates, logs, backups, cost control and technical error analysis. This effort remains even if the environment runs on customer infrastructure. Specialist improvements to the agent's work are handled as extensions when needed.
Are external service costs included?
No. Variable usage for providers, LLMs, APIs, licenses and platforms is shown separately. Where useful, customers can use their own provider accounts for direct transparency. ChatGPT Plus does not automatically replace business or API usage.
How high are usage costs?
That depends on data volume, number of cases, connected services and automation level. Light usage can be in the low double-digit range; intensive usage can cost several hundred euros or more per month. LLM, API and license costs are usage-dependent.
Can costs be limited?
Yes. CODIKI plans the setup by task and defines budgets, warning thresholds and approval steps before productive use.
What does the operating package cover?
The operating package covers reliable technical operation of the agreed environment: monitoring, updates, logs, backups, cost control and technical error analysis. External provider, LLM, API and license costs remain separate.
Can we operate the digital employee in our own environment?
Yes, if the environment is suitable and responsibilities for access, security and maintenance are clear. This does not automatically reduce the monthly operating package because CODIKI still has to monitor, update and support the setup.
Are there fixed prices?
There are entry prices and typical ranges. After the needs analysis, customers receive a binding offer.
What happens with higher usage?
Before launch, CODIKI defines budgets, warning thresholds and approval steps for unusually high usage with the customer.
